[Plugin: FD Feedburner] Why sent when deactivated?

Hello,

I’m in the process of building my site and have an option for people to subscribe via Feedburner. Since, I’m newbie and playing around with site, I don’t want people to receive feeds so I deactivated this plugin a couple of days ago only to find that new feeds were sent this morning to my subscribers.

How does this happen if plugin is deactivated? I want people to subscribe for when I launch but don’t want them to receive anything before then. Any suggestions?
