[Plugin: Events Registration 3.0]

    Found this amazing plugin that pretty much looks like what i need it to do.
    the i download and extract to plugin folder
    the second i activate i get
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in \wp-content\plugins\event-registration\event_regis.php on line 1980
    i have no clue why
    can anyone help ?

    I have exactly the same problem:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in \wp-content\plugins\event-registration\event_regis.php on line 1980
    but sadly no clue how to help
