can you provide a sample link?
normally this works, could you try previewing the twentyeleven theme to see if that works on there?
Hi
I’m using Weaver II with a child theme.
John
Site not live at the moment hoping to launch it sometime next month. Would you like a screendump?
@johninuk
Screenshots are okay. Also, have you tried previewing/reverting to twentyeleven theme?
Problem occurs in twentyeleven theme as well. How do I send screenshots (sorry new to this software)as I can’t paste them onto this blog spot.
just post the screenshot link.
Sorry can’t as site hasn’t been uploaded onto the hosting server yet.
you can use this http://imageshack.us/ then paste the link here. Also, if you can provide more info. e.g. your events format or shortcode you used.
this may be due to your server being an old IIS version – http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#PATHINFO:_.22Almost_Pretty.22
it should work… but maybe permalink rules clash in this mode. maybe try renaming your events page slug to something else?
Thanks
I think it is a permalink issue as I tried it on a clean site without permalinks and it worked perfectly. I have got my permalinks set with a custom /index.php/%postname%/ and have tried renaming the events page slug but it has no effect on the result still get an error message. Any suggestions as to how I can solve this problem as I have limited knowledge of permalinks settings etc as I am new to WordPress having migrated from Sharepoint (great to be free from Microsoft!)
Marcus
Have moved site to another server and am getting the same problem. Removed any old pages from trash and reset slug to “events” but still not getting multiple events page from calendar view.
is it still an IIS server requiring the use of index.php?
Marcus
Removing the index.php solved the problem obviously something doesn’t like working with Apache.
Thanks for your help.
