Plugin error has me confused

    I’ve downloaded two plug ins now, extracted them and moved them into my wpcontent folder in Filezilla. But when I got to upload the.zip in WP it fails because “the path already exists”. But it doesn’t. What’s happening?

    I have tried changing permission to 777.

    Please help

    if you have extracted them and moved them to /wp-content/plugins, the path does exist – in fact, the plugin is installed and you don’t need to upload the zip file thru wordpress – just activate the plugin.

    hi samboll, thanks for coming back to me. The plugin doesn’t appear in my plugin folder though.

    then where would they be if you extracted them where you said? You need to find them :>)
