hello. I updated my WP to 3.3 but my buddypress plugin says 1.5.1 and there is no new update option to get it to 1.5.2.
is this latest buddypress available through the plugin update?
    i dont see it.

if not how do i update manually without losing all my settings and everything else.
    thanks

As usual, back up your database before upgrading.

Download BuddyPress, unzip in computer, upload BP files via FTP or cpanel, etc. to wp-content/plugins/buddypress

The updater seems to be working for me (it shows a new version). Maybe try again; perhaps something was cached.

the funny thing is today – a day after i posted this, the update came up in the plugins.
updated fine. all is well. just make sure you back up any custom code you create.
    thanks
