Please Provide Valid Email Address Error

Good Morning,

I am using the MailChimp for WP plugin and for some reason I have started getting an error under the subscription form in my footer. No matter what valid email address I submit to the form I get a message saying “please provide a valid email.” My default form code looks like this:
