    I have no clue what is up, it is suddenly blank..

    What could it be? Should I uprade to 2.3.1?

    Could it be due to heavy loading on the server?

    I have had the same problem, and it drove me crazy for more than two hours, after few researchs here is the fix..

    the 2.3.1 is fine but you must not use an old configuration file from older versions 2.2

    So get the wp-config.sample.php from the original 2.3.1, edit the information there… database and stuff. rename and upload wp-config.php.. and you are done.
