Please disable auto updates

    I know you have a setting that says :”disable” but it doesn’t work.

    I have screen shots of what happens on auto updates to sites. The update today thru a ton of database errors and crippled the site.

    I manage plugins myself and having things run rogue is against WP concept of plugins.

    Hi,

    Plugin Auto Updates are fixed in version 2.0.1

    Kindly uninstall the current version of Mail Bank installed and then install the version 2.0.1

    Then go to Plugin Settings, and turn off the Auto Updates.

    It will never update the plugin until you explicitly do it.

    Fyi – the issue was you changed the database schema but since it auto updated if hosed the site(s) with a SQL error about the missing table mail_bank_meta.

    I like the plugin and the new update looks great. But if you can put plugin update in control of the site owner and not the plugin you would save us all a big headache.

    @Tech-Banker – thanks for the fast reply. I just disabled then re-enabled the plugin and that fixed the error.

    Hi,

    Sure, we definitely got your point. We have fixed this in the latest release.

    Please go to Plugin Settings, and turn off the Auto Updates and save Settings.

    This will not auto update in future if setting is turned off.

    @Tech-Banker – Everything is ok now. I just disabled and enabled the plugin and that installed the missing table. All settings were kept intact. I already have them set to not auto update so if this is fixed we should be good.
