I still have some question about the the login thing, Why would you pay for WP-MEMBER since WP-MU have this login already? Whats the difference between WP-MU and the WP? Which one is better?
oh – sorry, i was not clear before. I use wp-member because in timalerts.com, we’re charging people. for example, look at this page: http://timalerts.com/wp-login.php?action=register
See the payment option? That is made possible by wp-member.
And as for wordpress mu, we didn’t need a payment plan there – so we just used the default login and added a spam filter – as seen here: http://timothysykes.com/wp-signup.php
The only reason ppl sign up on thr wordpress-mu site is to talk in the forums… which again is a hack job. The forums are actually a free php based forum from pun-bb – and it was hacked up to connect to wordpress.
