picture collapses after posting

    Hi,
    I am new to WP. I have my own domain.

    When I post a picture, it doesn’t give any error. But when I view the site, I cannot see any trace of it in my post.
    Firefox doesn’t show anything and IE shows just a place holder.
    I have tried both the following options.
    1. By keeping the picture in my database
    2. by uploading from an url outside the database

    Am I doing something wrong somewhere?

    Can you list your blog address in either your profile or here? It’d be a lot of help if others could see the code being generated.
