• Hello, your firewall is very much appreciated, and I have a number of sites on GoDaddy so I thought this might be useful to others as well. Plus their wait times were too long. 🙂

I have both a php.ini and php5.ini file in my account. Should it be changes in both, and yes i”m also looking into if I need both in the meantime.

    Hi jefftg,

I haven’t seen a site with two php.ini files like this yet — it’s possible one is old and no longer being loaded, or both might be loaded.

On the Diagnostics page on the Wordfence menu, you can click the link that says “Click to view your system’s configuration in a new window” — it shows a lot of information, but near the top, there will be a few rows that show which .ini files are being loaded for your site, so you can see if only one or both of those files appear.

Most GoDaddy sites we’ve seen didn’t need adjustments to php.ini — if you don’t mind searching that page for “user_ini.filename”, can you tell me what it says in the two columns for that line?
