php redirect migration help | WordPress.org

I have just moved a site over to WP today.
It used to use file names such as: http://mysite.com/file.php

Now in WP the files are now showing as http://mysite.com/file/

Is there a way of automatically redirecting views of the .php file to that of the new page in WP?

I hope that makes sense 🙂

I forgot to add that the site is running on a windows server, does that make a difference?

Ah – yes, it will. And I’m afraid that this kind of rewriting on a Windows server is not something I’m familiar with. It might be worth posting a new topic with a subject along the lines of “Redirecting old html pages on Windows server”. With luck, that might attract the kind kind of attention/expertise.
