php in template

Please help…

I was messing around (over my head) trying to put php in my template to install a plugin. I thought I didn’t change anything, but now anytime I try to navigate anywhere on my website (I can’t even get back into the Dashboard to fix it) I get this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/f/r/u/fruition1234/html/wp-content/themes/presswork/functions.php on line 2

How can I fix this?!
