    Hi Alex,

why did you stop supporting php 5.3. WordPress is supporting >=PHP 5.2.4.
My Webserver is still running php 5.3 because of LTS of Ubuntu version. I will change this in the next case but the plugin has crash my page after the update. In the changelog on WordPress is no hint about the requirement of php >= 5.4.
I have fixed it with a backup of the directory. I think, still the core of WordPress is compatible to php 5.3 the plugins should also support this?

    Greetings, Alex

I don’t agree PHP 5.3 didn’t received any security updates since four years and was introduced eight(!!!) years ago. Even if WordPress still supports PHP 5.2.4 doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to use a ridiculous out dated version of a software. Even for ubuntu 12.04 PHP 5.6 is available via ppa. So there is no reason to not update your PHP version.
