PHP 4 to PHP 5 Upgrade

    Hey everyone,

    Basically, I’m in a dilemma.

    I’m running WordPress (with a few plug-ins) on my Dreamhost PHP 4.4 server, and I require a PHP 5 server for some of my own script to work.

    I’m not asking HOW to upgrade the server, I’m just wondering, is there a big potential for things (i’m unsure of what exactly) to go wrong here? Will there be a specific process that I need to follow ?

    Any previous experience or guidance on this matter is appreciated, I just don’t want to jump straight into the deep end here.
