I am unsure what is going on as I have not made any setting changes. When I go to the page in question and click the thumbnail, I use to get a lightbox but I don’t anymore.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Maybe your photos do not have a name and you ticked the box in Table IV-A3: Photo names in urls

It is recommeded to NOT tick IV-A3 and IV-A4 to prevent this kind of mis-behaviour

Those settings were checked but as I said, I have not changed any setting from the last time I used it (which was months ago) when it worked. I unselected IV-A3 and IV-A4 but the problem still exists. Here are my album settings:

It looks like you (or one of your (security) plugins or…) makes it no longer possible to use the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php link.

Try: Tick Table IV-A1.1: Ajax NON Admin

If that does not help, untick Table IV-A1.0: Use Ajax

admin Ajax works. Settings are saved via ajax. The lightbox is what is not working on the album page. I did try unticking those options and the problem remains. Why is it going to a new page when I select a thumbnail instead of the lightbox? Here are my lightbox settings:

To my opinion thumbnails link to slideshow on your site. Pls verify links from thumbnails in Table VI-B.

It goes to a new page because the ajax request fails. It fails due to a http 400 error what means: bad syntax.
However, the syntax look ok to me, so something throws the wrong error.

Ajax may work at the backend (settings) but that does not mean it works at the frontend.

Did you add any kind of security plugin recently? Or a plugin that modifies incoming links?

Not that I recall (no security plugin) and I just looked and we don’t have any installed. We use cloudflare and that’s about it but have been using it for a long time.

    Here are the settings.

Not sure why my post is being moderated… ? We are trying to cover a live event and this issue is hindering us in a big way.

Table VI-B2: Thumbnail link reads: the fullsize photo in a slideshow.

Try this: Untick Table IV-A6: Enable pretty links
Pleasepleaseplease keep IV-A3 and IV-A4 UNTICKED so i can test something.
Also please tick IX-A3: Allow WPPA+ Debugging

IV-A6 did it! Not sure how it got changed and I am the only one with perms and have not changed it.

    Thank you!

Also, your product is GREAT with all of the customization/settings options but I would really find it useful if I could search them by keyword as there are A LOT of them.

    Keep up the great work!

if I could search them by keyword

Near the top of the settings page, there is (since 6.8.01) a button named “Show all settings and helptext”.

If you click the button you will get a page of about 3.5 meters long (hihi).
Now press CTRL+F and you can enter a search word. This works on pc at least on Chrome and Firefox.

Right… I am well aware of that but I was on a mobile device.
