photo theme logo image

I have an issue when I try to upload the logo picture to the photo theme.
After I upload the logo picture It does fit fine. But I feel there is wide gap between the logo and the navigation bar. I have the hunch that this gap is the Header H1 that was there prior to the logo. Because after I uploaded the logo, the H1 disappeared.
