Photo sharing plugin?

Could someone recommend a photo sharing plugin for WP 3.0.1? I tried installing Photosmash (which is perfect for my needs) but cannot activate it as it gives a fatal error (memory usage). I deactivated what I figured would be a heavy-use plugin (google analytics) and activated it fine..but after re-activating the analytics plugin, it crashed out again for memory use.

Long story short, here’s what I’m trying to do:

I am building a blog/site for a friend who is walking from Ohio to LA to benefit the American Cancer Society and we want to have it to where users/visitors can upload pics to the blog posts he makes when he stops in their city along the way.

I saw the PicPlz plugin but that doesn’t seem to be compatible with 3.0.1 (gives an ‘invalid header’ error on install). Are there any other WP plugins out there that will allow me to accomplish what I’m looking to do?
