permissions problem

Hello! I am trying to back up an old blog so I can update WordPress. I installed Ready!Backup, but when I try to go to the setting page I receive the following error message:

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I’m using WordPress 3.0.4. with a twenty ten theme, which tells you I need everything explained in words of one syllable…
