Permissions Error?

    Hello, I’ve just installed a nice theme into my wordpress installation.

    I am trying to customise it but I am getting permission errors like this: Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/myweblog/functions/admin-interface.php on line 81

    Any ideas how I rectify this?

    I changed the permissions to 777 for wp-content and it worked, but if I want to make changes in the future, will I only be able to by keeping these permissions?

    Hi,

    Contact your hosting service provider to grant the 755 recursive permissions to wp-content folder. Once it is assign to correct user and group to your domain, it will remain as it is.
