Permalinks help!

right now it works with:
/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/post%post_id%/

but i want to use
/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%category%/post%post_id%/

but i cant cos when i do it loads the WordPress page but the content says the 404 error message…. what could be the problem?
