Permalinks Funny Business

    I just moved my site to a new server and I am having some strange behaviour regarding permalinks.

    Permalinks are currently off (set to default) and most of the site works correctly apart from the ‘Bruges Tozer’ and ‘Experiments in Motion’ pages (found in the side bar). When you try and click on them it tries to load the permalink url i.e http://wilfswann.co.uk/work/experiments/ even when you paste the page id in the url (http://wilfswann.co.uk/?page_id=209) it still tries to load the permalink version.

    When permalinks are ON even less of the pages work (but some of them still do and work fine). The blog posts seem to work fine it is only the pages that seem to be effected. The site usually loads the pages with AJAX but I’ve turned off all the javascript shenanigans so you can have a clearer picture of what is going on.

    I’m pretty sure it’s got nothing to do with .htaccess as i have tried deleting and recreating it many times and it is currently set to full permissions so wordpress has not problem editing it.

    Any ideas?

    Fixed it myself.

    disappointed in the lack of help that I have had from this forum the last few times I have posted here.
