Sometimes when you give the person/student the answer, they won’t learn. I am a teacher of sorts.
you come here because you need an answer…. it all depends on how quickly you get an answer… i am not trying to learn here…
That’s why I give a suggestion AND and an answer!
Yup, Yup.. we all come here to learn.
Even giving answers will teach us something 😉
Modest eh ?By the way.
Does anybody here know if it works om WP 2.0?
Today I cannot get my habds on the demo site at the WP2PDF project home site. I’ll linger a bit til I I know whats going on here. It’s an interesting idea though to offer our readers the possibility of making a PDF from part the blog, say a cathegory or monthly archive. It also opens for making books using WP as a CMS.i upgraded to 2.0 on 2 blogs and wp2pdf doesnt work fine now. when using the PDF link that was working fine on 1.5.2, on one, i get a OK
“The document has moved here.”
on the other, it just redirects me to a blank page…
anyone fixed this plugin or wrote a new one?
There’s a completely new, easy to use plugin, ContuttoPDF:
http://www.contutto.com/software/wp-to-pdf/
It will output each page as PDF at the push of a button. It brings is a default PDF template, based on the Kubrick theme, but it is fully themable via XHTML and CSS (rendering is done by DOMPDF).
I have been exploring this functionality myself and have tried out both of the suggested.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wp2pdf – This works fine, and has some extensive options. However, development is slow to non-existent and I couldn’t locate the WordPress plugin for integration… but putting in the link from the install notes into the WP Loop works just fine, so I’m not sure what the plugin would actually do!?
http://www.contutto.com/software/wp-to-pdf/ – This needs PHP5 and my webserver only runs PHP4 as a-lot of other peoples servers do, so I was unable to try it out.
