Sorry that you ran into issues here!
This particular issue is one coming from the settings of your PayPal account–we don’t control whether they allow you to just pay with a credit card or not, that’s up to PayPal and the account settings. They base it on the country in which you reside and the account settings for allowing guest checkout.

Thank you. Another question regarding payments. I did a test payment for a local restaurant in my directory but did not finish the payment process. On the backend it still showed payment OK even though I did not complete it. I have it set to pending but I do not want to have confusion in the future if someone has paid or not and accidentally publish it even though they did not make a payment
We have a background process that marks listings that didn’t complete the process as abandoned but it takes 24 hours for the thread to run and mark it (because sometimes, PayPal can be in the process of sending the IPN notification and we don’t want to do that right away)
There won’t be confusion if you’re running 3.6.8 and wait a day after listings are placed…payments that are incomplete will be marked “abandoned”
Well, on the final step, my directory users are not able to use paypal now. It keeps saying that their username or password is not correct and they can’t complete payment. Here is where my directory is.

Nevermind, I got it working by unclicking test mode in settings. My bad.
