payment option order

Hi Everyone hope someone can help me here,

I am using gold cart and have been using sagepay for a few months now, I recently added paypal as a additional option but now my system defaults to this and puts it at the top of the list which i do not want, I have read its done alphabetically and have tried to change the payment names to A – sagepay B – paypal but it still defaults to paypal. any help is much appreciated.
