Payment Failed: postal code doesn’t match

    Square Payment Failed (Status code BAD_REQUEST: The postal code in billing address doesn’t match the one used for card nonce creation.) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    Order failed this morning with this order message, but subsequent orders worked. I can’t have orders failing, the owners are freaking out.

    Hi there. This error message typically means that the postal code associated with the card and the postal code the user entered into their billing details in checkout do not match, so the card was declined. This is most likely user error, not something wrong with your site or the plugin.
