Try:
– deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
I did as you suggested and it did open up the site to some browsers but I have been told that a number of people still cannot access and updates on the main site are not showing – they are on certain browsers. So is there some way to standardize with all browsers or how can I find out. I’m afraid I’m no expert at this stuff.
