Password Problem

Updated to the latest version, and now when I try to login as the admin, my password fails. BUT – when I take the prompt that I forgot the password, and type in my e-mail address, I am told that WP has emialed me the password. But if I click on the PW screen again, and click “enter”, I’m let back in. How do I fix the password problem?
