Password glitch

    I logged in after a long period away and WP rejected my password. I thought no problem I’ll just have WP email me a new one and fix it to my choice once I got in. The problem:WP is rejecting the new passwords that are emailed to me. I’ve tried 5 times and can’t get in. I tried to edit in Cpanel but the the new Cpanel doesn’t look like the Cpanel on the support page. Anyway, i’m locked out and can’t access the page to make changes which I need to make desperately. Any suggestions?

    Thank god, I thought I was the only one. I downloaded the emergency.php script and it worked a few times, but it doesn’t work anymore. This is really starting to anger me when I have an e-Commerce website and am unable to access it.

    hey paul, I went into my phpmyadmin, found my database name, clicked on wp_users, changed my password from the encrypted info to a regular password, and then used the emergency script (search for emergency script on this website’s internal search). Now it works 🙂
