Hello trying to activate CM Pop-Up banners for WordPress, which have successfully activated on other websites, this error keeps occurring when trying to activate on a Bluehost website:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home2/qmsupply/public_html/curlys/wp-content/plugins/cm-pop-up-banners/package/cminds-free.php on line 3

It appears to be an issue with the pluign for some reason, new install to, and works on other websites, any ideas or steps to resolve it, any help is much appreciated.

    Hi Spicoli,

We’ve seen this problem before and it’s caused by the old version of PHP being used on the hosting (<5.3) we strongly suggest upgrading the PHP version to at least 5.3 or newer (5.4, 5.5, 5.6) for compatibility and performance.

    Best,
    CM Plugins
