Parent menu link not working on mobile | WordPress.org

Hi,
On mobile devices, all the other menu items are working except for the one that has a submenu. The child links are working, but nothing happens when I click on the parent link. Could anybody tell me what the problem might be?

I am using this code: https://gist.github.com/eri-trabiccolo/846b1b32ecab51bff366, in the functions.php of my child theme. Is there something in that code that is causing the problem?

I read elsewhere that there have been some changes made at some point, so that on mobile, navbar-wrapper should also have the class tc-open-on-click. So I guess I need to change something in the code I linked to here earlier. Could I get some help with that since I am not so good at PHP? Thank you in advance.
