• Sometime recently, in the time after upgrading to 2.8, the paragraph spacing in several different themes on several WordPress blogs I host has changed — there is now zero space between paragraphs. Margins and padding between other elements — some images, for example — has changed in some spots as well (though not all).

Since the CSS files of these themes have not been changed in any way, can anyone explain how this change could occur? What is overriding the theme’s CSS file? (These are different themes on different blogs, but all having same spacing problem.)

Could be the CSS files associated with any plugins you have running.

Really, a plugin can have a CSS file that isn’t part of the theme and completely overrides the core CSS files — even something as fundamental as paragraph spacing? Kinda scary…
