• Hi, what I would like to have on my wordpress blog is the ‘ordinary’ page with posts in chronological order. The posts will be categorized and the categories are to be found in the sidebar.

But I would also like to have a ‘page’ for each category. That is to say I would like each of these pages to ‘collect’ the posts in a certain category.

Yes, I will mix pages and categories…

    Example:

My blog will have three different Categories; Europe, Africa and Asia.

My blog will have the the usual frontpage where all post will be published and categorized in Europe, Africa or Asia.

The blog will also have three other pages; named Europe, Africa and Asia.

What I would like to happen here is that the page Europe ‘collects’ all post in the category Europe and publishes these post – only – in chronological order. The page Africa will ‘collect’ all posts in the category Africa and so on.

I have tried to find a plugin handling this issue. No success so far. I have also tried to find a solution in the forums and in the codec and the closest I have found is an article regarding templates that, as I understand, might be able to collect and archive certain posts.

As I understand it should be possible to make my idea work. Unfortunately I am new to WordPress and my knowledge about php and coding in general is below zero.

So, is there a plugin out there that can fix it for me or are there any other solution that I can use?

    Thanks in advance

    David
