Hi Giorgio,
Pages -> Add New -> (on the right side) make sure ‘Default template’ is selected. This ensures you don’t have any sidebars (works only for pages. Sidebar can’t be removed from blog pages.)
Thanks.
Hey Giorgio,
How are you doing today?
I’m not really familiar with the theme that you’re using, first you’d want to check page templates when creating pages http://screencast.com/t/IojMFvvRzdcv. Try checking if there is a full width template or if any other template has no sidebar included.
If your theme doesn’t offer that I’m pretty sure we can just hide it on specific pages with some custom CSS.
Please let me know 🙂
Cheers,
BojanHi Bojan,
already taken care of 🙂
Hi Macho Themes,
Your response to Giorgio does not apply to me as this option is not available:
Pages -> Add New -> (on the right side) make sure ‘Default template’ is selected
Do you have any other solution to hiding the left bar? Looking for a full width cover page and other pages as well.
Thanks,
Alex@macho Themes awesome 🙂
Hi Megale87,
could I please have a URL to see where the problem occurs ? Are you running the latest version of Pixova Lite ?
I just downloaded it:
Pixova Lite doesn’t seem to be activated on this website. Can you please make sure it’s active ?
OMG! My apologies… been working since 4am and forgot to turn it on… I just put on my dunce cap 🙂
Thanks for your prompt response and support!
Glad I could be of service ! 🙂
Hi. I have another question in this subject. Is there any possibility to get rid of not only sidebars but the background image to?
You mean the header image on pages ?
Yes but only on pages as You said. Not on the main page.
It’s only possible in LITE themes with custom code … If you feel comfortable coding, I can point you in the right direction.
Ok, let’s try. And yes, I know that You can’t offer a copy/paste solution 🙂
