Page URL change plugin

I know that this is out there, but I’m having a hard time finding it…

I need to be able to give each page a specific url (permalinks?) so that it’s not ?page_id=2. for instance: the about us page should be http://www.mysiteurl.com/about. is there an obvious plugin that I’m missing?
