• Resolved Cohesive

When you pull up the site [ redundant link removed ] on a mobile phone browser you can see some of the code for the page structure. It doesn’t appear when you look at the site on a computer or a tablet.

You can see some of the following on the homepage when looking at it on a phone browser:

    [one_column]

    [hr_clear]

Is this code no longer compatible with modern phone browsers? You’ll notice the page is also half width on the phone screen, which I assume is due to this code that is visible too because of how it makes the page structure work like it’s supposed to on computer and larger tablet screens.

Trying to figure out if this is something that can be easily resolved or if I need to hire a developer?

    Thanks!

Are you using a separate “mobile theme”?

Not that I’m aware of yet but it’s possible. This site has a lot of extra layers that probably weren’t necessary and I’m not the original site developer so some of this is figured out as we go. There aren’t any mobile themes in Themes under Appearances and I’m reviewing the other plugins and configs to see if I can find any mobile themes in place. Nothing yet.

Are you using Jetpack? There’s a mobile theme option for that.

That did it. Thanks! Hadn’t gotten to those settings yet and I may not have thought to try turning that off. All set!
