Page not generating

    I wrote a page with content and title and saved it. When I go to my site I see the page listed under pages, but when I click on it I get a 404 error. Is the page generating?

    This happens on the wordpress classic theme. The one that comes with the install.

    If you enabled nice permalinks and didn’t properly paste them into your .htaccess or if mod_rewrite isn’t available then you would get a 404 error.

    Thanks. I didn’t know that I would have to rewrite the .htaccess file everytime. That worked like a charm. Now to fix my Archive page.
