Page Hangs on Checkout.

    I am trying to get a site working with WooCommerce and Square for payment processing. The shop looks fine. I have gone through all of the setup for the site to use Square, and have configured it be in Sandbox mode for testing.

    This is actually my second attempt to get this working. I got it to complete one transaction on my first build, but it stopped working as I was configuring the site, so I started a completely fresh installation and have not gotten it to process any transactions at all. It is behaving exactly as it did on the first site. The page just hangs up when I submit the payment on the checkout page. I have left it “processing” over night and it never goes through.

    Another thing that I notice is that when I submit the order, my CC field turns red and kick up the error “Enter a valid card number”, even though it was fine before I submitted the payment. (See ScreenShot)

    I tried disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Square. I also used the Disconnect from Square button, and replaced the token on the Square Dev dashboard and reconnected. I have also tried the basic Twenty Twenty-Two theme to see if that would be any different. It was not. I am stuck. Any ideas of what to try next?

    I am embarrassed to report that I was not using the Square Sandbox payment methods. When I followed the link to set up the Square account, there was no place on the page that even mentioned needing special payment information. At least not that I saw. Ugh! that would have saved me some time.
