• Hi Guys,

I’ve been trying to work this one out for a while now. When we build a theme that uses custom page templates for certain tasks (eg. displaying a custom post type loop), we find that W3 total cache will not detect that it needs to purge the cache when we publish new content.

I’ve been experimenting with the settings and it appears the only way to work around this is to add the slug to the additional pages to clear section.

Is there a more elegant way of doing this?

    Thanks.

I”m afraid not – I was hoping one of the plugin developers would be able to help.

    ok, thanks for your reply.

I’ve also tried “Automatically prime the page cache” with a sitemap with only 2-3 pages, but neither this works…
