browser background portion of the page
Sorry, which section are you referring to? Can you link to the backround image so we can relate?
content of every page has a background of white
What should it be?

i want everything to have the above mentioned bg image. even the contents of every widget and post.

Are you working on a Child/Custom Theme, or do you have a Custom Style/CSS plugin?
it is the mono theme and this happened when i installed the xml file and a plug in from the author. it works using the OptionTree plugin. I think this has something to do with it…but am not smart enough to know why. š

Also can you link to the theme you’re using? I can’t find one called ‘mono’.

The noise background image on your website is applying correctly, however a white background colour is applying to this HTML element, <div id="outer">.
If I temporarily remove this white background colour, this result is shown;

Is this what you’re looking for?
no….i want it the very light texture that was in the outer before…not the dark texture and all the same, even the content.

very light texture
Are you referring to the white colour?
If so, doesn’t that contradict applying the background image to everything?
the background is a very light, almost white texture. the inner content area is a flat white color on my site. i want the almost white texture all over.

Can you also link the very light texture image? I can’t see where this is.
i think the background on your screenshot is YOUR background, right? i feel really stupid now. hahahaha.
that link to bg_noise3.png IS the light texture background. i do think your screenshot may be correct but it is not really easy to see in the screenshot.

ok. thank you. i am not sure what that means but i think i will just deactivate or delete the theme and start again. he gave instructions with the theme, but they are obviously not working for me. i will try again and go really sloooooowwly this time. haha.
