I want to make the site’s sidebar look like my photoshop version, but I have no idea what to do. I’ve been messing with the CSS for an hour now trying to fix the sidebar to no avail. Any opinions on how to fix it?
Oh yea, I’m using Root’s awesome Gemini template.

Wow. Thanks a lot alphaoide! It’s too bad that it borks under IE6. I’ll try and fix it myself.

I’m sorry, but I don’t have an abandoned mock-up right now. This is only the third CSS site that I have worked on, and my table-based site mockups are amateurish. However, I’ll probably spend some time in the future making designs for WP blogs.
Also- if you can help me get this site up and running, I’ll make a mockup for you if you want. 🙂

The curly braces thing fixed it. Oh, I’d really appreciate it if you can adapt it to IE

If tomorrow I check and it’s still messed up, I’ll see what I can do. In the meantime, have fun.

That is a very nice Gemini implementation. I would be inclined to declare a width for the floated element and remove the padding at least for testing purposes. That might get you started.
