    Hello,
    I have my downloads on a page called Member Downloads. The page is set so only paid members can see the content but is there a way to set each package access .. for example
    I have 3 subscription packages gold, silver, platinum.
    If they buy a gold I want them to only be able to access gold downloads

    in that case you need to create 3 roles “gold, silver, platinum.” and assign files to respective roles.

    I see where to create categories but at the bottom of that page it says roles that should have access to the downloads.. there isn’t a place there to create roles, just to select ones already there.

    I think I found the issue.. Do I have to have premium to do that?

    WPDM just doesn’t have option to create roles, you just can assign exiting roles, for managing roles, you may use role manager plugin plugin from wordpress.org 🙂
