[P2 Theme] Using Subscribe to Double-Opt-In Comments

Hello!
I use the great P2 Theme but i miss a function. I wanna use the plugin Subscribe to Double-Opt-In Comments http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe-to-double-opt-in-comments/

But it doesn´t work with P2 and i nee help. Maybe someone has an idea.
