Overriding plugin/widget with theme

    What I want to do –
    Override part of the Sidebar Widgets plugin with some code in part of a theme. Specifically the function widget_pages($args). One of the Standard Widgets.

    Why –
    Because I can’t edit Plugins. (It would be simple otherwise, but for now I can’t.)

    What I need –
    1st – To know if “What I want to do” is possible.
    2nd – A link? Some help on how? Please?

    Details –
    What’s needed? The theme I’m using is Giraffe2Wonky3.

    It’s so frustrating because I know exactly what I need to do, but I have to find another way. All I know about php is what I’ve deduced from these forums and browsing the files. It would be wonderful if someone could help me.
