Outdated theme, but no real errors?

    Hi there,
    I am writing to ask about a question on an outdated theme from 2012. It is called Manifest, and it’s a beautiful theme. (found here:https://wordpress.com/theme/manifest) I downloaded it awhile ago and just uploaded it to my new WP blog this week.

    I know the concerns and risks of an outdated theme, etc, however I have ran the theme through the Theme Checker plugin, and there seems to not be any big warnings.

    Do you think I can still continue to use this theme with ease, or is it still better to get a newer one? Thank you!

    Hi,

    As you said the theme is outdated from 2012, it is recommended and best to use the alternative of that theme. There are many free themes available and I’m sure you will also get according to your requirements. 🙂

    There may be security and SEO issues with the outdated theme.

    Also, WordPress is not giving me any option to activate the theme maybe because it is not updated for many years.
