Order Status Commission

    Hello, we recently implemented Slice WP to utilize the affiliate marketing component of it. However, not long after use, we have noticed that commissions are being generated when the order status is “pending payment” instead of “processing” or even “completed.” This has obviously led to numerous false commissions being generated due to the fact that payment was never completed by the customer. This has caused quite a headache on our end. Is there any way to change or adjust this???

    Hey @pinnaclepeptidelabs,

    Thank you for reaching out! Commissions are created when a referred order is created.

    At this stage a commission has the “pending” status, meaning it is waiting for the referred order that generated it to be either completed or in processing. Once the referred order is in processing or completed, the commission’s status is updated to “unpaid”, which you can consider as “approved”.

    Please note that pending commissions are not taken into account when processing affiliate payouts, so you don’t need to worry about them.

    Even so, is there something working differently on your end than I’ve described above?
