    Hi!

I use both Hummingbird and Smush and get more improvements and opportunities on mobile than on desktop. For example, I’m not sure how to follow the steps in the “Asset Optimization” because I can’t locate the files the test shows. So I would appreciate of someone could give me some guidelines to make the score for mobile much higher! 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi @migus,

Please do note that Mobile will always have a less score compared to the desktop. I see a score of 53 for Mobile when I check your website.

I’m afraid, there isn’t a way to configure the settings only in Mobile, you’ll have to configure the Asset Optimization as a whole.

because I can’t locate the files the test shows

What Hummingbird does is minifies, combines and compresses the files into multiple assets, which are what’s listed in the results.

If you try to open the URLs listed, you should see which all files are minified under the “Handles” tag as shown in the following screenshot:

Which should give a better idea of which all files needs to be tweaked. You can find the following articles on how to move forward with configuring Asset Optimization.

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/eliminate-render-blocking-issues-hummingbird/
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hummingbird/#asset-optimization

Improving Render Blocking resources should help with improving other opportunities listed in the Page speed score.

Please do note that you can’t get a full score regarding Eliminate Render Blocking resources, what could be done is to improve the score to the limit that the theme can handle without breaking the layout, which would differ from one theme to another.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
