Does EWWW optimize all the sizes of images generated by WordPress separately or only the image that is uploaded by user.

One more thing i am using AWS Cloudfront CDN. Basically WordPress uploads the images to CDN, but when using the plugin does it upload the optimized image to the CDN before the non-optimized image is uploaded or does it makes duplicates on the CDN.

Glad to hear it worked. Kind of tough for me to test too thoroughly when I don’t use cloudfront, so all I can do is go from what SHOULD happen.

Marked this thread as ‘not a support request’ because we are now moving into the area of feature request for the post-processing upload to cloudfront.

S3 uploading during bulk optimize is now in effect. This also applies if you use the one-click links in the Media Library list view also. If you want to try it out ahead of time, you can see download it here:

Sry for the delay in response (Had some other issues).
I checked the plugin with older images that have already been uploaded, but it is not working the optimized images are not uploading to cloudfront.

Are you running the dev release that I linked above? Also make sure the account you are using for S3 has permissions to replace/delete files.

Yes i using the link above. And coming to the permissions, they are set to edit/delete but the Grantee is set to my username.
should i need to change the Grantee or is it okay with my username.

You may need to change the grantee. I’ve barely used S3, but here is roughly what I did:
    1. create a new IAM user
    2. generate the access ID, and access key
    3. normally I suppose you would create a group, add that user to the group, and apply permissions to the group, but I skipped this part
    4. attach a new policy to the user/group, using the S3 Full Access template

I didn’t set any specific permissions, I just did it with the templates Amazon already had available, and I didn’t set specific permissions related to my S3 bucket (couldn’t figure that out really).

When I was testing the changes, I used the S3 console to see if the file sizes changed, since the S3 images were likely to be cached by my browser.

Sry bro forgot about browser cache, it was already working. i have tested with few images and every thing is working fine so can i go for the bulk optimize.

Got a problem bro, i just wanted to make sure that everything goes right, so i test out a few other pictures but some of the are not optimizing but some are.
