Email sender information error

Hello!

I have an issue with woocommerce email notification settings.
I want to change email sender information – ”From” name and ”From” email, but after I make changes and press – Save changes button, error – Ooops something went wrong appears AND it says that – The link you followed has expired.

I have latest version of woocommerce and also latest version of WordPress.
How it would be possible to resolve this error?

Since you mention it says “The link you followed has expired”, it could be a temporary issue. Have you tried again at a later point of time?

Additionally, please share the following:

System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

Thanks for checking, and for sharing the screenshots.

I have latest version of woocommerce and also latest version of WordPress.

WC Version: 5.1.3
WC Database Version: 5.1.2

Upon checking the system report, I found that your site is running a very old version of WooCommerce and this may cause all sorts of issues, including the one that you’re experiencing, and also security vulnerabilities. You may want to update WooCommerce to the latest version. Here’s a helpful guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-update-woocommerce/

If interested, you can find the latest WooCommerce versions here: https://developer.woocommerce.com/releases/

As you’re updating from a rather old WooCommerce version, I would recommend taking a full backup of your site and database before the update. You can use UpdraftPlus for backups.

Besides WooCommerce you should also update the WooCommerce Database to match the core version. You can do it from WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update database. Here’s a helpful guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-update-woocommerce/#woocommerce-data-update-notice

After these are completed, please check and let us know if it still gives the same error.

Hi!

Interesting, I have the latest wordpress version and yesterday I updated latest woocommerce version and updated database, but today again it was the old version.
Gladly I updated woocommerce version once again and now problem is solved.
