Only display single category title?

Hi 🙂

I’m using a featured content gallery on my front page (http://www.featuredcontentgallery.com/) and in order for posts to be included in this gallery, I have to create a new category called ‘featured’ and add selected posts to this category.

As a consequence, when I view the actual posts, at the top of the page, it lists their original categoey i.e. ‘Culture’ but also ‘featured’ too.

I jsut want it to say ‘Culture’, or the relevant single category, not ‘Featured’ too.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,
